Hello, as you can guess by the placement of my posting, I'm new. I am wondering how much, if any, help support groups/forums are. I never was a fan of the whole weight watchers meeting, TOPS, etc. Seemed to me like many of the people going there never got any smaller. I've done LC in the past, had great results but got oh so bored w/the food. I'm not a vegetable fan but I'm going to try new things w/them to see if I can tolerate them. I am tired of being fat. I've wasted many years being big and I want to turn some heads before I need a walker! ha ha ha ha My weight has gone up and down so often that I'm very weary of any diet/life plan/etc working. Please tell me there is some hope.

Look around the gallery and see all the success pictures and then come back and tell me if there is HOPE!

This forum is truly the best and everyone is so supportive.

You will find this to be your second home.

We are here to support you and of course befriend you.

Hugs!

I was one of the skeptical ones too.... but this is a great place to get support and information from people that are going through the same struggles.

I'd suggest starting a journal... reading others journals and keep posting those notes. There are a lot of people out there with a lot of information.

Welcome! Your weight loss history sounds very similar to mine. I'm somewhat of a newbie to this forum and it is a great way to get information and support! I've found that this is the only way of eating (WOE) that allows me to EAT.. it felt strange the first week eating until I was full and I still lost 4lbs! It does work!! Just make sure you drink your water.. thats been my staple with this new way of life.
