Hi! New to this forum but have been lurking around in Internet for quite a time reading various groups and articles. Been doing Atkins, on and off, sorry to say, for nearly 2 years now. Age 58, length 178 cm. Started from 108 kg, all time Atkins low 81 kg, present weight 94 kg, going down since 2 weeks from 97kg after serious restart. Goal 75 kg, the weight that I kept until 40 years of age. Started going up when quit smoking.

I can do only metric measures. I know there are good pages to find conversion tables, but have not bookmarked them.

For the record, my nationality is Finnish, which also is my native language.

Hello Paularthur: I am from Michigan, in the US, and there are many Finns in the northern portion of our state. Many use the Finnish word, "SISU" - which apparently means strength and courage.
