Default Induction: LC Bread

I recently started induction again because I slid off the wagon for a couple of weeks. I have been sticking to under carbs a day but I have a question: I know the rule is no grains and fruits, but I found bread for 1.5 carbs per slice, is this allowed? I hope it is. Thanks,

Trishka

it depends on which book you read actually... i know that in atkins essentials it allows things like low carb bread and tortillas, but in dr atkins new diet revoloution it says not to eat those things during induction.. so for me i just keep induction to whole foods and stick to the old book and i'll add those things once i am in owl.. i've just found that i get better results without the other foods .. but everyone is different, it could be that you can lose using them... good luck to ya and huggs =0)
