Question Nutritional Supplements - what is best?

Hi Everyone!

I was hoping for some feedback on what type of nutritional supplements/vitamins everyone currently takes? I am on Atkins and know the ones that he suggests - those on Atkins, do you take all those? My doctor (who originally suggested Atkins to me) said that only a good daily vitamin is necessary (like One-A-Day for women, which is what I am currently taking). The hubby and are feeling good but have only been on Atkins a short time. We would rather not have a medicine cabinet full, but will do whatever is necessary. Any advice on what types/quantities to take? Thanks so much in advance for help on this!!

I just saw an ad for One-A-Day vitimins for low carbers. I don't know much about it, but thought I'd take a look next time I need vitamins. I love the idea of having everything in one pill.

I take a multi-vitamin, cal/mag, potassium and occasionally zinc. In the winter, I was feeling so cold, that someone suggested the zinc. I don't really know if it helped or not, though. The potassium and cal/mag help to eliminate leg cramps, which is common with low carb. They are definitely a help to me for the leg cramps.

I use fitday pc to track my nutrients, so I only take the extra pills if I really need them.

Good luck to you!
