Default I'm going to hang this on my fridge.

I like the new ads with the Atkins Food pyramid, and the mention in it that you DON'T NEED the packaged foods to to the plan!

That's where I saw it. I think it might help "rescue" the image of the plan. Maybe more people will learn Atkins isn't just meat and cheese... and that you don't have to use the bars, shakes, and all the packaged things.

I noticed our local grocery store has a big cardboard stand up sign showing all the foods you "can " eat on Atkins.............. Fresh veggies, cheeses, meats, berries..........Right beside all the Atkins Products !! Breads, bars, pancake mix, syrups, muffin mix, shakes. And a bunch of pamphets showing all the Atkins products. Why can't they just stick to promoting the plan and not sell us all this crap!!

The Pyramid is fair play though

Kathy

Because they don't make money on the plan after you spend your 6 bucks on the book if they don't have "stuff" to sell you. I think they're basically trying to fight the "all meat" image and take a swipe at South Beach being touted as "healthier than Atkins".

In any case, it's nice to see the emphasis on the plan and not the products.

You just gave me a wonderful reason to buy the paper. That's great!! I wonder if they can put refined sugar and flour on a little eye like on the US dollar

Instead of use sparingly- use in emergency.
