Default Interesting Article on Dietary Supplements

I thought this was a really interesting article and potentially health saving. I know a lot of us take supplements of different types to go along with our WOE, and I know that I'm going to definitely look into the supplements AND manufacturers I'm using to make sure I'm not doing anything dangerous after reading this article.

Thanks for posting the article. I currently just started taking a fiber supplement that is supposed to support digestive health. Got it from the Vitamin Shoppe. Doesn't appear to have any of the bad things in it. We will see how I feel...

Default Now I'm really depressed

Just tonight I bought a bottle of Kava hoping it would be a good herbal remedy for some mild depression I've been having Of course it's listed here as very likely hazardous!

I guess prozac's a better option

Thanks for posting the article, it was pretty scary.

http://www.westonaprice.org/healthi...upplements.html There is another article on how to select supplements.

These 2 are posted in the research area but are worth mentioning here because they are that important for people to read http://www.washingtonmonthly.com/fe...4.brownlee.html and http://www.aapsonline.org/jpands/vol9no1/kauffman.pdf

Here is the thread they are posted on http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=177659
