Unhappy Newbie/Bride-to-Be/Need motivation!

Hi All!

I'm a newbie to the site--just signed up today! I have been trying to watch my carb intake for the past few months--my mother and I purchased the South Beach Diet book a little bit before Thanksgiving and we were "full force" on the diet--I lost about 5 to 7 pounds (but then when Christmas came, I stopped being strict). I have pretty much kept off the weight that I lost from reducing my carbs--so I know that it works--but right now I'm having trouble getting my motivation back.
This morning (Easter Sunday), I could not find a THING to wear. I have a lot of clothes in my closet to choose from (but all are spring clothes from previous years that USED to fit me but now I'm having trouble getting into them!) Long story short--I cried because I was so frustruated I couldn't find anything that I looked nice in--and I ended up wearing a suit that is a couple years old and I had to leave the zipper of the pants a little bit unzipped so they wouldn't cut of my circulation!!!

A little background: I'm 24 years old and my senior year of highschool (in 1998) I started dieting and lost about 50 pounds--I was overweight. I have kept that weight off for the most part but have been gaining slowly each year--I have tons of clothes that I can no longer fit into and every summer I have to go buy new shorts. It has really started to take a toll on my confidence, yet my motivation level is CRAP!--I have no motivation to exercise at all either! Now, I'm engaged and getting married on July 16, 2005 and I am looking for some support from people who have similiar goals/similar sittuations.
Please post back with your words of wisdoem and your personal stories that may help me boost my motivation! I'd appreciate it!
Thanks!
