Smile Life Choice frozen dinners by ConAgra

Our Kroger store has started carrying a line of frozen dinners by ConAgra Foods called Life Choice. There are 14 different varieties, all with less than 15 grams of carbs per meal. There are breakfasts, as well as lunch/dinner type meals. Meat loaf, beef tips, chicken parmesean, three-meat alfredo, etc. I have tried three different ones and they are very good and have large, satisfying portions. They are about $3.50 each, so about what you might spend on a fast food lunch. I take these to work so I'll have a nice, hot lunch and not have to live off salads. Here is the website:

Has anyone else tried these?

Default I Like Them

I have tried the meat loaf, beef tips and pot roast and I think they are good. I didn't care for the chicken. It tasted a little rubbery.

I pay $2.87 for them at Wal Mart in the Houston, TX area.

Let's face it-prepacked convenience foods loaded with artifical preservatives and MSG like these are what got many of us in the shape we are in today-fat. For 15 carbs I can have a lc feast for lunch and I don't eat salads everyday. You should check out LindaSue's website if you have been eating salads everyday. genaw.com/lowcarb
