Default Anyone lose from the ankles?

I am bottom-heavy, pear-shaped, a spoon—whatever you want to call it, that's what I am. I've always been heavy, too. So I have always had thick calves and ankles. I am not only doing Atkins, I've also started the Escape Your Shape exercise program, which focuses on changing your body shape.

My question is, have any of you with thick-ish ankles noticed a change since starting this WOL? I've lost a half inch, but they are still at 10 inches. I really, really want them to go down. I know I will never be a delicate flower, but I'm hoping for something a little more normal.

can't really say that I did lose in my ankles, but I defenetly lost in my wrist. I didn't measure, but my Watch band used to be snug and now it is way loose.

I haven't measured my ankles but I know I've lost some of their circumference - I have a tattoo of a running greyhound on my left ankle, and it had been getting all weird looking, faded & stretched out. Now it's gone back to normal!

Hi, didn't think to measure ankles at the beginning, but I was well on the way to getting " cankles " (thats what my kids call them ), when your calves sort of run into you ankles without much of a diffrence! Anyways, last few years, I couldn't see my ankles really, they always seemed swollen ( couldn't ever see the bone that pokes out on the inside of your ankle ).......probably all due to having to carry all this extra weight around. . . .BUT, they ( the bones!) are just making an appearance, and definatly slimming down............so hang in there, it may well happen.

Good luck.

Yup! My anklet is much looser. Hang in there, perhaps it is the first place to have put on and will leave later, also if you are redefining your body shape the difference in muscular calves and ankles will help them look slimmer too.

Yup,my ankles are more defines, never lost them but are looking better. I've lost 0.98 inches off my ankels and calf. 0.51 inches on my forearm, but the big change has been in the waist, 8 inches gone there, 3 in the chest and 4 on hips.

I'm loving this new WOE.
