Thumbs up anyone tried oregano for stomach bloat

Just wondering if anyone has tried oregano for stomach bloating, my mom and aunt go to a local curves in their area, and the ladies there suggested they take oregano. My mother is very small now, but my aunt is having a hard time losing her stomach even though she follows the diet very strictly. She has been able to reduce her insulin to 1/4 of what it used to be, so she is doing extremely well, and i wanted to make sure this wasnt going to set her back on her weight loss by taking it. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

If you mean Oregano Oil, YES!
Regular oregano won't do much.
The reason for stomach bloat is usually the culprit of a candida (fungal) infection in the gut (Atkin's book as an entire chapter on it).
Olive Leaf extract is also another good one.
They gave good advice

Sorry I should have clarified more - fresh oregano is better than dry (as dry has lost most of its oil) but oregano oil is great because of its high concentration. You can get it at a health food store.

candida is a yeast not a fungus.

and oregano has a natural antibiotic in it so yea it will help with the yeast.
