Default CarbSmart dumps the HFCS, but...

Some of ya'll still might not like what they switched to: Fructose. But, the Fructose appears further down the list [than the HFCS did previously,] which means there's less of it than there was of the HFCS.

Apparently, High-Fructose Corn Syrup is only about 50% fructose.

High Fructose Corn Syrup

Information contributed by Corn Refiners Association [Communication: September 26,2003 Audrae Erickson, President]

Fact: The truth is table sugar and HFCS are both about 50% fructose and 50% dextrose. An analysis of annual HFCS 55 & 42 production would reveal an average content of 49% fructose-nearly identical to the fructose content of sucrose.

So does the new product have MORE or less fructose than before??

I really couldn't say for sure...I would guess more Fructose, but less total sugar. They basically removed the Dextrose half.
