Default TGI Friday's LC Menu

My SO and I went out to eat at TGI's yesterday for lunch. I was impressed that they had a LC menu. There weren't a whole lot of choices and they were all pretty much served with a side of broccoli but I got the Chicken with peppers and onions with a side of broccoli and it was delicious! The carb count was a little high (17g!) but the meal was delicious!! My only complaint was that they didn't serve any butter with the broccoli so you have to ask for some if you want it. The helping was generous (or so I thought) and very filling!!

It sure was a treat to be able to go out someplace and eat with a menu geared towards my WOE!!

My big beef with their menu is that I HATE broccoli!

I noticed the no butter with the broccoli as well. We have a local mexican food resturant that has a delicious low carb menu.

I am glad that there are more choices now!

I am very happy that more restaraunts are catering to our needs... we are a force to be reckoned w/

I always had to ask for extra stuff.. even prior to LC... extra ranch dressing please.... extra butter .. More Mayo... so this WOL fits me just fine...

Yipppeeee for TGIF and all the other chains starting to catch on....

I took my daughter on our 1st date last night and we went to Max and Erma's. They also have a LC menu! I got the Chiken Stacks. It is 2 chicken breasts and in between and on top is cheddar an/ or swiss AND 2 strips of bacon! With a side of broccoli...they also offered a salad. They had other menu choices as well, including a Burger Stacks, strip steak, salad w/ meat on it, etc. Very tasty. Actually, the the chicken tasted as if it had been quick fried in burger grease after the initial broiling...and it was quite good like that! 5.6 grams if you got all the veggies on the "sandwich"...I did not get the toppings.

My big suggestion to restraunts is GET A LC DESSERT MENU! Offer some SF/LC cheesecake and something chocolate! If you make it we will buy it! I was so bloody full after my meal, I doubt I could have squeezed down a LC dessert even if I wanted to!
