Default Diet Riet Soft Drinks -- Count as 1 Carb?

Thanks to the good people on this forum I've discovered Diet Rite -- love the cola, orange and raspberry sodas, as well as adding a bit of cream to them for a decadent snack! Question, though -- the nutrition label says 0/0/0, but everything I've read says to count a packet of Splenda, with which Diet Rite is "sugared", as 1g carb. Should I count a can of Diet Rite as 1g carb or as 0? It makes a difference as I'm trying to stay under 25 net carbs a day.

Thanks!

Commercial products like Diet Rite use liquid Splenda which truly is zero carbs. The powdered Splenda should be counted as 1 gram of carb per packet.
HTH!

Thank you for the answer! Let's hope Splenda will market its liquid form in the States soon, then -- every carb counts!
