Default Does anyone else like butter, just butter, by itself?

I don't mean I make a whole meal of butter but when I'm cooking, sometimes I get a little piece and just let it melt in my mouth...mmmm! Is that crazy or what! I love butter

Well, over here where I live, lots of people eat butter with their morning coffee. What they do is just pop a piece in their mouth and stir in another piece in their black coffee. I got a friend who also LC and take butter like taking cheese.

*snickers* Yep! When I was a kid I used to lick the butter wrappers before my mom threw them away.

Of course, I'm also one who can drink straight cream without any problem at all. When I was little (before 10) I was very, very thin. My folks always thought I should be putting on some weight, so I used to eat a lot of Cheerios with just cream. I didn't start gaining weight, though, until we had a steady supply of ice cream in the house (all that sugar!).

Been doing this quick-fix for years when I'm craving chocolate. A nice big pat of stick butter quickly melted in the microwave in a bowl. I stir in a heaping TBS of unsweetened cocoa powder, and a couple packets of splenda. Makes a yummy sauce. Hope this isn't too off topic. I'm also a butter eater from way back.
