Talking Should I feel weak?

On my third day today and ketostix at moderate. I'm feeling particularly weak today, a bit dizzy and it's hard to concentrate at work. I also nearly gagged this morning eating my eggs (I normally like them but have potatoes and toast with them). I just threw away my breakfast after eating just 1/3 of it. At least I don't have much of an appetite like I used to!

I felt good on my second day and went for a walk, but today I'm wiped and can't function. Will this feeling pass, or will I be like this for all of induction?

I've lost 6 lbs so far.

Thanks,
Rob

Hi Rob!

What you're experiencing is called carb withdrawal and yes, it's very common. Most people report that the third day seems to be the worst and that by day 5 they are feeling better than ever.
You are drinking your water and taking the suggested supplements, right?

Mmm, no supplements at all, and drinking Diet Rite and water (probably falling a little short of 8 glasses).

I forgot about the supplements. I'll print out the Atkins website article and take it with me to the store. I didn't think they'd make that big of a difference, but I can try them.

Thanks,
Rob

The supplements will make a HUGE difference.
Also, 8 glasses of water isn't enough. Try for two litres a day at LEAST. I try for 3 myself.

Good luck!
Steven
