[FONT=Comic Sans MS][SIZE=3][COLOR=Magenta][B] Hi I am a newbie though I have tried atkins diet before. I have two questions, firstly I am in the UK and was wondering if anyone else here is and if so do they know what "heavy cream" in UK shops is known as and where we can purchase low carb products? Secondly in induction I understand you have 20 grams of carbs per day, then according to the book there are free food such as chicken, fish eggs etc etc, and I can have 2 -3 cups of veggies/salad. Now do I have to measure each vegs' carb content within in the cup and put that towards my 20 grams a day or is it taken that in induction I just have the cup? Likewise when it states about unlimited cream and mayo, looking at the cream I have it has a carb content, do I count this or not? Help!

Hiya!
Yeah, you count ALL your carbs! (Except Fibre)
The cup measurements are kind of guidelines to help you estimate what 20g of carbs look like.
Create yourself an account on www.fitday.com and track your intake there, it will help you a lot! (Persist. It's a pain in the bum to get used to using it...)

Good luck!
Steven

I believe "Heavy Cream" is called "Double Cream" in the UK.

Also, there's no such thing as unlimited anything.
Be sure to follow The Rules of Induction (atkins.com)
