Default Green Tea

Has anybody had any experience with Green Tea on a low carb program?

Green tea has been getting alot of good press latley, saying that absorbs calories and speeds up the metabolic process.

Is it good to use on low carb programs?

Any other minerals anyone can reccommend?

many Thanks

I have recently shifted my hot drinks almost exclusively to Yerbe Mat'e, the South American
herbal based green tea.

Seems to be working very well for me, not drinking coffee at all now, not even decaf.

I can't say that there is a noticeable change in metabolic level, but the anti-oxidants are good,
it seems to have taken my blood pressure down another notch, it does create any insulin
spike, and no noticeable cravings.

Plus it certainly speeds up the need to pee!

I drink up to four cups in the morning, the way I used to consume coffee.

I also often have another pot in the afternoon/evening, depending on when I can get back
to the house.

Remember to pay attention to your own body, and see how things work best for you.

All of us are different, and react to different foods and drinks differently.

Have you read the sections regarding supplements in Dr. Atkins and in Protein Power? It is
well worth the time needed to absorb that information in detail. Very important for long
term weight loss, IMHO.

Keep on, keepn' on!

Default I drink green tea

When I drink green tea with my meals I tend to lose more
weight and that's a fact in my case. I add lemon to it and a little
stevia or splenda and its taste like ice tea (good)
