Hi Cindilee, welcome!

You'll be fine. Just follow the lists of allowed foods in DANDR, and you'll be dropping pounds in no time.

Do bear in mind that you may feel unwell for a few days from about Day 2 or 3. It's just a bit of detox and it'r really just a matter of sticking it out. You'll definitely feel better once you're through it.

Have a good look around here. There is an orange bar at the top of the screen with a lot of interesting and useful information. I would recommend that you look at "Low Carb Tips" up there.

Happy low carbing!

Rosebud

Hey! Welcome to the forum and a new way of life. I was both scared and excited when I started. Scared to death this would not work for me.

Just look around and have a good time. You will find many more benefits to low carb than just losing weight.

Hi Cindilee and welcome!!!

I've been doing Atkins for almost 3 weeks and it's been an adjustment. I have to tell you that I feel wonderful! Lots of energy and weight loss too!

But be prepared for the first few days.....they are really tough. I had headaches, dizziness and the general blahs.

If you have questions, ask away........the people here are always glad to help!

Good luck!
