Default question about the ISI whipped cream gadget

i am curious if you can use splenda to sweeten the cream. the directions say to use powdered sugar and not granulated. is the splenda powdered enough not to mess it up??

also how much splenda do any of you usually use per pint of cream?? i don't want to waste a cartrage and get it too sweet or not sweet enough.

thanks!!

Yes, Splenda dissolves very easily in cream.

For sweetness, it's a matter of personal taste. Start with a teaspoon of pourable Splenda - or half a packet - and add in increments of 1/2 tsp. until it is sweetened to your liking.

It should taste the same, it's just the consistency that will be different. All you're doing to the cream is adding air.
