Question Jelly Bellies

Hi, I'm new to the forum - and to the Atkins Diet - but both seem to be suiting me really well

Does anyone know how many carbs are in Sugar-Free Jelly Bellies? I'm missing fruit the most on the diet, and the Jelly Bellies are great (if I can eat them) because they have a pretty authentic fruit taste. They are made with "Splenda" as the sugar substitute, but i'm afraid I don't know much else.

xxx

I have to reply with a caution here. The SF Jelly Bellys are sweetened with maltitol syrup; in fact it's the first ingredient in the list. So far I had avoided the--explosive--aftereffects of maltitol-laden desserts, right up until I ate some jelly beans.

It was unpleasant.

If you can get by with just a small handful of these to satisfy your cravings; great! But do watch out.

Cheers for the info - I have been warned about overdosing on them

I can't agree more about the "instant" affect of the Jelly Bellys SF. Nothing has ever affected me that much, that quickly; with the hour I get the most unpleasant reactions.

NEVER AGAIN! I would rather eat sugar, and I am a Type 1 Diabetic!!
