Hi Rose7!
you could try using Flaxoil.. this is a really good fat since it is full of all the omega oils, and is known to stimulate your metabolism. I use it on salads, in protein shakes and on steamed veggies... this would be a good oil to incorporate.
Do you eat alot of fish? I also eat alot of canned herring.. they come in hotsauce, and also have alot of omega oils.. ( i know alot of people would say OH GROSS, but I really like them).
also, what about nuts? If you are on induction nuts may not be a good option right now though.
Also, use cream for your tea or coffee if you drink it, and whipped cream.....
hope this gives you some ideas....
also, how bout starting a journal, and then we can give you more specific feedback if you provide some of your menus in it, plus we can come around and visit you.
