Talking Suggestions please!

Looking for a good lo carb cookbook. What's everyone using that has the most useful recipes?

I was looking at Barnes & Noble (still have $$ left on a gift certificate), and there's so many to choose from. But I did notice some of them aren't very low carb based on the reviews.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Yes I know the web is great for that, and I've gotten lots of good recipes so far. Just sometimes want a regular book available in the kitchen to supplement what I already have.

"The Low Carb Cookbook" by Fran McCullough is a very useful basic LC cookbook.

I also like her book "Living Lowcarb," which has lots of helpful ideas and recipes, although some of the desserts are a bit high in carbs. However, the ice cream recipe is the best I've found (especially if you add 1/4 tsp. xanthan gum to keep it from crystallizing in the freezer) and is very low in carbs. The Dacquoise (meringues with chocolate whipped cream) is also very low carb and tastes sinfully good, plus I use the meringues as the base for lc strawberry "shortcake."

Try the library. Most have their database on-line now. Just checked our library and they have two of Fran McCullough's books. Think I will take a look.

I looked at Books-a-Million and spent an hour looking through all the books, and to be honest, the best recipes Ive found so far were on the net! Just search, print and save 'em in a notebook, save the gift certificate for the next Stephen King novel!
