Default Pork Rind Confusion...lol

What is the scoop on pork rinds. The nutrition label on Dan Dee BBQ Pork Rinds says total carbs=0g, but the ingredient list includes "sugar".

Calories = 80
Fat = 5g = 45 Cal
Protein = 8d = 32 Cal

So by my calculation that leaves 3 "phantom" calories unaccounted for. I assume this is from the sugar, but why would the label say 0g of carbs instead of 1 (or <1)? Is it not required to list sugar on nutrition labels if less than 1g per serving?

It's true. In the US, it is not required to list any carbs less than 1g. Some still list them, but many don't. In my opinion, that's a law that needs to be changed.
