Default Pins and needles feeling in legs

I've been LCing about 6 or 7 weeks now and have recently been having a "pins & needles" kind of numbness feeling in my outside upper leg. between knee and hip for about a week or so lately. Sometimes the feeling is very painful but much of the time it is just a very irritating feeling. I take a multivitamin along with a 99mg potassium tab. 1 tab. of each per day.
I have heard that I may need to increase my Calcium/Magnesium intake. Has anyone else had this feeling and does the Cal/Mag. increase help to abate this feeling.
Will someone respond and let me know of how they overcame this feeling.
Thanks for the support.

I'm postmenapausal so I take 1600mg Calcium with 800mg magnesium. That was my dr. recommendation. The premenapausal dose is 1000mg of Calcium and 500mg of Magnesium.

Also take 3 potassium (99mg each) a day.

This has stopped all my leg discomfort including restless leg syndrome. Due to all the water we drink a lot of minerals are flushed out of our body.

Hope this helps.

I got that "pins and needles" feeling for the first time ever after I started low-carbing. Mostly it just occurs when I'm startled, but occasionally it occurs for no reason whatsoever. Bizarre....don't know what causes it. I'm 24, so I'm (hopefully) not menopausal, so it can't be that. Maybe I'm lacking in some vitamins.

I would occasionaly get that even before LC'ing when my leg would go to sleep. The whole lower half of one side would tingle and have that pins feel. Even half of personal areas. My SO thought I was nuts when I tried to explain it to him.
