according to fitday.com it is 43.9 carbs. just for a double patty, is that right. i hope not, i thought i was doing so good by taking it off the bun.

Most fast food restaurants have nutrition information on their web sites. So far, I've checked Chik-Fil-A, Burger King, McDonalds, and Wendy's and they're all good.

Here's the "component" nutrition information from BK.
http://www.burgerking.com/Food/nutr...ds/foodcomp.pdf

For FitDay, I would create a custom food and type in "Burger King Double Hamburger, No Bun" or something like that and then enter the dietary info on the link I provided.

Don't forget to count condiments which are also on the link above.

Sam
PS BK double hamburger patties are 0 carbs.

I've had a couple of big bacon classics from Wendy's this week with mayo, lettuce and tomato w/out the bun. I listed it in Fitday by under beef (ground) small pattie. Thats what it is right? Then I lsted the lettuce and tomato and bacon separately also. The beef came out to be no carbs. Maybe it was me who didn't do it right?

When you choose a food in Fitday, if you look to the right of the page sometimes it tells you what ingredients it thinks are in it. Sometimes they add ingredients you know are not there.

For example, Scallops, cooked, NS as to cooking method actually lists breadcrumbs as an ingredient. I about died at the carb count till I realized that.

That 40g probably includes a bun, ketchup, mustard, etc...I initially put it in as 4 oz. Ground beef (weight before cooking). But, I later took the numbers for 4 oz. of ground beef and a slice of cheese...and created a custom food "1/4 Pound Cheeseburger." A quarter pounder/classic single w. cheese is punched in as 1 serving...A double quarter pounder/classic double w. cheese as 2 servings, and a classic triple w. cheese as 3 servings.

but........ what if they add bread crumbs or something like that to their hamburger? That would make the carb count higher.

Default according to burger kin and Jack in the box

Both of these burger joints claim to be 100% ground beef patties.. no fillers and no substitute meat.

I go to Jack in the box about twice a week to get an ultimate cheeseburger with no bun and no ketchup.
it has mayo and mustard.. and 3 slices of cheese.. and 2 hamburger patties.

not bad. I figure around 6 carbs for the cheese.
