Default Advantage bars at Trader Joes

I buy my bars at Trader Joes, I was shocked to see that there were no bars anywhere on sunday, so I asked the cashier, and she said that they were renegotiating the price with the people from Atkins, they were a dollar cheaper then everyone else. I guess Atkins want's them to pay the same price as everyone else. I will have to cut back on my bars, so I guess it is a good thing.

Thanks for the info. I usually get my bars from them as well, though I am trying to cut back. I have to count the sugar alcohols as carbs.

Post uh oh!

I do most of my shopping at trader joe's and i noticed this too - at both stores here in San Francisco, there were NO bars for about a week. i went yesterday, though, and they were fully stocked. did you notice a price increase? (i didn't even check, but will next time.)

the atkins bars are one of the more expensive ones anyway, so i'll be bummed if they raise the price more. just to experiment, i'm trying out some cheaper low carb bars - Keto, Met-Rx protein plus, and carb solutions. Haven't tried these yet, but will give a shout when I do!
