Default Atkins Accel Side Effect

I decided to try the Atkins Accel, as I seemed to be losing slower than I thought I should. I read the ingredients and have heard that green tea extract, which is a main ingredient, may aid in weight loss.

Anyway, I figured I'd give it a try. Well, it turns out something in this stuff gives me awful headaches! I don't know which ingredient doesn't agree with me, but I stopped using it.

I'm sure it works fine for some people, and I can't tell you if it actually worked or not, since I had to stop using it. I just wanted to post what my experience was with it.

I suppose I don't really need it anyway. I'm still taking my Atkins Basic #3, Essential Oils and Calcium, and those should be just fine.

I don't need an appetite suppressant - just following the plan keeps me from being hungry.

So....I've got almost a full bottle of the stuff...anybody want it? JUST KIDDING!

I have been thinking about trying it myself, but as of yet have not picked any up. I use to take diet pills, (a lot of diet pills) so I don't think I will get a headache from them.. thinking I must have built up a tolarance by now (years and years of pills).

What I am taking right now is OneADay - Weightloss. I figured I could help the system along and get in my vitamins!

Default ECA Stack...

After reading the long thread on the Exercise board regarding Thermogenic weightloss products (Atkins Accel was mentioned a few times) - I decided to try an ECA stack to help get me past the hump I couldn't seem to surpass, they have been great for me - no side effects and I have been dropping like crazy.

I guess it just goes to show everybody (or BODY) is different!

Note - Atkins Accel I don't believe has ephedra, so it isn't actually an ECA stack, but is definitely considered "thermogenic".

Mary, I used to take diet pills too, but that was a long time ago, so who knows what may have changed in my system by now. As I said, I'm sure it works for some folks. I wish I could take the stuff, because it just might be a boost for me, but....

Also, I get headaches rather easily, and I just may be really sensitive to some ingredient in this particular product.

However, I.W., can you tell me a little more about "ECA stack"? Is it different than Atkins Accel? I can't take anything with Ephedra in it, that stuff just makes me feel nauseous and nervous and sends my heart beating way too fast.

I am still willing to try another product if it might work. Of course, I would compare the ingredients in Accel before trying anything.

Thanks!

ECA stands for Ephedra/Caffeine/Aspirin ... it's considered the most effective blend for thermogenic weight loss - there is a great thread on here that breaks it all down, also talks about non-ephedra alternatives:

Someone at work gave me a bottle of the Accel. I usually only take one a day but have found no side affects. Unfortunately, it didn't have any effect on me at all. I guess I need much more of a boost than what is in it.
