Unhappy Advantage Bars- Grams & net grams - doesn't add up! Help--

OK, ADVANTAGE BARS--

Sombody put me in my place and show me just how dumb I am.
In 3 days I will be finished with my 2 weeks Induction and my dream is to award myself with an ADVANTAGE BAR. However.......

If the grams on back of the label say 22
And the Fiber says 9
--The book says, subtract the Fiber from the total grams to get the NET grams. OK---- 9fiber - 22carbs. = 13 net carbs.

??????Then WHY does the little circle on front of the Advantage Bar say 2g???? Should it not be 13g ?

Most of the carbs (and sweetness) comes from Sugar Alcohol (Maltitol), which is not effecting your insulin levels, and is considered "OK"...

Advantage bars have an explanation on the back (it's next to the nutritional label written in red). In your case, that bar contains 11g of glycerin which must be subtracted as well.
