Question Benefiber?

Has anyone else tried Benefiber instead of Metamucil? I really like that it has no taste, but I find I am frequently having to ansser nature's call - too frequent considering I only had one serving, which is 12% fiber. I feel normal otherwise.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Is the Benefiber sugar-free? I've seen ads for it, but have not yet checked it out at the supermarket. Occasionally, I had been mixing psyllium husk powder into Crystal Light lemonade, but I had to chug that stuff as fast as I could. So, if Benefiber is sugar-free, it could be a good "chug-free" alternative for me.

I believe it is sugar-free. I got it when I was on induction and read the label carefully. It has no taste and can be mixed with anything. The only thing I noticed was a very slight "thickening" when mixed in liquids, but then I'm very sensitive to food textures. Most people wouldn't even notice.

The only ingredient it lists is partially hydrolyzed natural guar. It has 4 g carbs total with 3 of them being fiber. No sugar carbs are listed. I finally adjusted to it I think; it is definitely easier to swallow than Metamucil!
