Unhappy ending the week at what I started with ...

Last Saturday I weighed myself and I weighed 178 (YEAH!!). We had company from Sunday to Wed. morning. I stuck to the diet and my sister in law was suprised at how little I was eating, meaning I wasn't pigging out like the rest of them . Anyhow, after they left I realized I was up to 183 again and I figured the only thing I was doing different was drinking diet sodas (being the only cold thing in the house cause people kept drinking my cold water. So I cut the diet soda out and am now back down to 180. I am hoping to lose another couple pounds this week. My mini goals are to lose at least 5 lbs every month. It makes me feel good to know that when company comes over, they can pig out on super supreme pan style pizza hut and I am perfectly happy with a "pizza" I made for myself in the frying pan. I think my pizza tasted better than theirs tasted

My whole family likes my pizza better now. We havent ordered out in a long time. You said you fried yours, what is your recipe, my husband wanted me to try to fry it but i wasnt sure how. I use the deep dish pizza quiche recipe on the forum.

Congrats on sticking to your WOE, it is hard sometimes but every time you stick to it in a hard situation the next time it will be that much easier.

I read on another lo carb site about making pizza by lining the bottom of a frying pan (nonstick) with pepperoni and let it fry and then cheese, etc.

I thought it would taste even better if I used bulk Italian sausage as the "crust" and fry it on one side then flip it over and add sauce, spices cheese, etc. and let it heat up until the cheese melted. Then slide it out of the pan. Oh it was soo good! My fiance tried a bite and said it was good. I didn't even miss the crust or feel deprived. In fact I think that may become my new "treat" for the weekends

You are getting close to goal weight. One week without loss isn't that bad. You may of also lost inches, do you measure?

If you lose a realistic 5% each month after induction, you only have 30 poudns left to go so losing 1.5 for a month means your right on target, anything more is even better. Don't sweat the scale. Make sure to exercise to start toning and getting a sleek look and just have patience, it really will pay off

Don't get depressed, I read somewhere that heat can cause a slight weight gain. Has it been hot there? Hang in there.. you are doing great.
