But I seem to lose more fat (lbs) when I wasnt working out.

lbs does not = fat.
Exercise increases your lean weight which not only includes muscle, but also bone density, blood volume and organ health. Increased activity also can increase the amount of water your muscles hang on to, causing a slight raise in weight there.
Losing fat is more important then losing pounds. Measure everywhere. www.mybodycomp.com can really help. Having a higher lean weight form working out means a higher metabolism, improved circulation, decreased cellulite, ability to toelrate higher levels of carbs, and many more benifits. The scale only shows a number that only you see.
