Default Salads are a safe bet

I don't live near a city, so I'm unfamiliar with Bennigan's menu. I've found what works best for me when eating out is to order one of the specialty salads. We ate out at a Mexican restaurant tonight and I ordered a chicken fajita salad. At Chili's, I order......trying to remember the name.....I think it's called a Caribbean salad. Any salad with grilled chicken would be a good choice, and most restaurants offer that in some form or another. When I order that salad at Chili's, I do have to pick out the thin tortilla strips that come in it. I probably could've asked to have them held if I'd have thought of it, though.

Cool What I get

I get the grilled chicken, veggies and the salad. It's a lot of food. Have fun.

Default I haven't been there in a long time, but

here's their web site.
http://www.bennigans.com/main.asp
I like to go to the restaurant's web site ahead of time, if I can. If not, read through the whole menu, and ask them to keep the potatoes and garlic bread (the new staples, I guess) alot of places for .99cents you can get a side salad. (Pick off the inevitable croutons, and watch for carrots). I usually tell them oil and vinegar, which they all have. Although, the other night, we went to Applebee's (I had the Bourbon Steak) and I ended up eating the salad without using the dressing. I didn't even miss it. Good luck. I am SURE there will be something you can eat there.
