Hi!
Did you know that if you register at the South Beach Diet site, they will send you a suggested meal plan everyday by email. It even has recipes. I like getting it as it gives me ideas.

My food consists of
1-breakfast- protein-2 eggs(or tuna or salmon) with a salad, 1 cup of coffee with skim milk and splenda
2-lunch, is on the run for me so it is usually some plain turkey or roast beef and a V-8 juice.
3-dinner, I got an indoor grill which is terrific, I have been making alot of fish mostly salmon, some chicken, steak sometimes. Also grilling lots of veggies and doing some sauteed in olive oil, garlic onions and mushrooms(yummmm) to put over the fish. I am liking cooking for myslelf because of the grill!! cleanup is easy!!

I have been having string cheese, laughing cow diet cheese, as snacks.
Everyone has different likes and needs and I'm sure you'll find a way to make it work for you!!

Yes, registration is free. If you want to use their tools, then you pay. Just go their site www.southbeachdiet.com and register. Very easy!!

I did pay to use their tools but have since canceled because it was not worth the money, IMHO. Their message board is very hard to get into as I kept trying and still haven't been able to gain access.

It depends on whether you would be in phase 1 or phase 2. I'm in phase 2, and todays menu includes:

Breakfast: Uncle Sam cereal with 1% milk and strawberries

Snack: Celery with Laughing Cow Cheese

Lunch: Salad of mixed greens with broiled chicken and Ranch (regular) dressing

Snack: Non-fat strawberry yogurt

Dinner: Oven "fried" chicken with either broccoli or cauliflower (or both!) and couscous. (I'm a little short of carbs today!)

Snack/Desser: Either a pear or ff Chocolate Pudding.
