Default Went Out At Lunch To Get Some Flax Meal, Was Told

By A Woman Stocking The Shelf That Once Flaz Seed Or Meal Is Coked, All The Omega Goods Are Killed. She Showed Me Another Brand That Freeze Dried The Flax, And Wont Lose Anything When Cooked.

Im Confused Now. I Was Going To Buy The Bobs Red Mill, She Showed Me Another Brand And I Cant Remember Now, Was In A Small Brown Sack, Opage, And Came In Regular Or With Bluberries, Cranberries And Was Double The Price.

Is This True, That Cooking Flax Makes It Void Of Any Nutrience Other Than The Fibre.

That Would Suck,

Default don't use boiling water

Its true that the omega 3s in Flax Oil are delicate - thats why you should never make your flax cereal with boiling water.. I take the teapot off the stove just before it boils and let it sit a minute or so before mixing with the flax..

I've always wondered about the baking question..
maybe someone else here knows??
Even without the good oils it is still good for the fiber..
