Default Atkins NEW Says PM

Hi, I'm just a newbie, but I read the Atkins NEW diet book twice before I started. My notes are clear that he says check ketosis in the evening, perhaps right before bed.

Hope this helps.

The book and the strips say in the evening hours, but you will hind a lot of people like to check first thing in the morning. This way you are not seeing a reading caused by the food you system has just processed.

I do mine right when I get home from work. This is an ideal time for me because it is generally 4 hours since I ate anything, and not right after a workout. I always get consistent results. That's my recommendation.... if there's a time of day that is similar to what I've described, I'd go for it.

Although I would also suggest that you don't worry about doing it every day unless you're trying to get INTO ketosis, or ate something questionable and you believe it may kick you out.
