Talking Are Olives a Low Carb Bargain?

Is it true I can eat a ton of olives at only 2 carbs per cup?
Why do I seldom see Olives mentioned or in recipes? Thanks

Probably because of the high sodium content.

I love olives, and eat about half dozen a day. I could eat waaaay more (and I used to) but I restrict myself because of the sodium.

On induction you can have up to 20 olives a day (under specialised foods in the book) so I've been making full use of that!

Default black olives

I use black olives because of their lower sodium count.

I eat green olives. The jar says 5 olives have 1 gram. Read your label and easy go it on the amount.
