Grapefruit

Hi! What a supportive site this is! I have been on Atkins since May 21st & have lost 15 lbs so far!

I have a question though for a friend who is past the induction stage. Dr. Atkins book says the carb count on grapefruit juice but we need to know how many digestable carbs are in a whole grapefruit. I know the count must be different because of all the added fiber.
Does anyone know?

According to fitday.com, one whole medium sized grapefruit has 20.68g carbohydrates and 2.82g of fiber.

my book says 10 carbs per half.
