Thumbs down confessions

2 weeks ago I went with kids to the beach. It's a carbo land. I actually had the most healthy time of the summer there -- lots and lots and lots of walking, biking and yoga. I felt the best I did all summer. But I ate a few icea creams and pasta etc. Came home. Said fuggetaboutit and started over. BUT THEN I was in the blackout in New York. Stuck at my friend's for 2 days. Nothing to eat but what we had (you guessed it) lotsa guacamole dip and chips. Not much else. And ice cream. I was really injured because I had to walk 5 miles in bad shoes. I could have done the 5 miles in good shoes, but when I saw my feet on Friday morning in the light, oh boy, baby. Blisters all over. They looked like swollen jellyfish. Anyway, I got home and was a little bummed out -- all of these disruptions to my Atkins routine. Plus everybody is telling me, Atkins is no good, do South Beach. What's that all about? Meanwhile I am convinced I don't lose more (when I'm good) because I don't go to the bathroom, plus medication. What can I do? Well guys, I came home and started over AGAIN. I guess that's pretty amazing in and of itself. It's just that the diet doesn't feel like a great eating plan these days. I made zero keto pasta, and that worked well, turned purple. I went on the website and ordered a bunch of stuff to keep it interesting It just doesn't feel healthy. But ok, I'm doing it. Can you guys chime in with some support here? And how did I get 3 eggs on my logo, I'm still a fat rat, despite the fact that I swam 20 laps today NO PROBLEM, and when I was stuck in New York, I climbed 10 flights and only had a lsight heart attack on level 6.

Bye. and Help.

Hi Melly!
First Of All, How Did All That Icecream You Ate Stay Frozen In The Blackout?hummm?
Don't Worry, Sometimes, You Just Gotta Eat What You've Got To Eat, But Always Go Right Back To The Diet. I Feel So Sorry For You Having To Walk All That Way & Climb All Those Stairs. If you add a magnesium supplement (take it at night), your bathroom problem should be over. So, I've got to ask, why was there ice cream and chips in the house? If it isn't there, you can't eat it. Good luck on your new start.

Tinaninea: The ice cream was frozen, took a while for everything to go bad. You are doing GREAT. True about the exercise, I sweated like a pig going over the Brooklyn Bridge and then walking up 10 flights. My blisters are just starting to heal. Whoo boy. But I'm eating ok now.

Atriana, There was food in the house cause it wasn't my house! I had to walk 5 miles to get to my friend's house, and I ate what was there. Sometimes everything falls apart even the electricity. They were her chips and dips. What kind of magnesium supplement. I have taken milk of magnesia (nothing much.) I need a rocket.

Bye you guys and thanks for replying. I am so happy to be home.
