OH MY GOODNESS!!!
Y'all, I weighed this morning. My husband and I just finished our first week of induction. He lost 9 pounds in one week and I lost 18 pounds in one week!!! 18 pounds??? Is that normal???

I know, I know. I should not expect to lose any this coming week, but I will STILL stick 100% to the Atkins program!!!!!

YIPPPPPEEEEE!!!

I have heard of that happening! That is great! I lost 10 pounds my first week. The heavier you are, too, the more weight you can expect to lose the first few weeks.

WOW....that is fantastic for both of you. I suppose you definitely can lose 18 lbs especially if you have a larger amount to lose (as I think you do by your stats). CONGRATULATIONS AND KEEP IT UP!

Woo- Hoo! Mark that down in your journal, along with your starting measurement, please! Such a journal will help you when you have the inevitable plateaus.
Welcome to this WOL! and congrats on the great start!

Sample day for me.....

Breakfast-
-2 scrambled eggs cooked in 1 T butter (I add water to the eggs)
-4 pieces bacon (yummy!!)
-1 cup decaf coffee with 1 oz cream

Lunch-
-5 oz grilled chicken covered with 2 oz cheddar cheese and 2 pieces bacon
-1 cup steamed broccoli with 1 T butter

Afternoon snack-
-1 cup cucumber slices to dip into 3 oz of softened cream cheese

(we usually don't have dinner, just afternoon and nighttime snacks)

Nighttime snack-
-2 deviled eggs (4 halves)

16 g carbs (3 g fiber)

I drink 128 oz of water each day. I think that is the BIG help for me. I also will sometimes drink a Diet Rite (tangerine or white grape) during the day. Occasionally I have Diet Coke still (I LOVE that stuff!!!!).

I'll tell you, if I can do this, anybody can!!!

His,
MrsTU
