Yep-not bad for a good ice-cream substitute. I'll eat it.
Mixed reviews on the board tho for nutritional content/corn syrup etc.

I am in love with the Atkin's Icecreams... the chocolate is to die for... Yummy...

Haven't been able to find the bryers LC... only the sugar free... which is pretty high in carbs still for my tastes.

Thanks!

I bought both the strawberry and chocolate versions of the Breyer's LC ice cream. I haven't tried the chocolate out yet but the starwberry is wonderful!

if you have a farmer jack's grocery store near you, the breyer's IC is on sale this week, and they do have the LC version. <$3 for a 1/2 gallon in itself is a wonderful treat from the $$$$$ other brands. I don't think it's sweet enough, but others do (hmmm what does that say??? ) other than that, it's fine. But I've never been an IC luver; take it or leave it.

I bought the Bryer's LC vanilla, but I haven't tried it yet.

One thing that I miss is putting carmel on my ice cream. Are there any "good" LC substitues? Or even a substitute for hershey's chocolate?

I think the Le Carb chocolate almond ice cream (I think technically it's called frozen dessert) is yummy and it is sweetened with Splenda. However, ice cream was always a huge downfall with me pre-Atkins so I find that I can't really eat it much or I want more, more, more. Not everyone suffers from my obsessions though.

davinci makes a SF choc syrup. I think Steel's (check netrition?) might make that and other flavors too- not sure about that.

The third ingredient in the Breyers is high fructose corn syrup.

I'm going to stick with LeCarb. It is much lower net carb and I like the homade vanilla taste. It is more expencive then Breyers, but alot cheaper then Atkins.

I was so disgusted by regular bryers that I don't think I'll be trying the low carb, but I'm happy you found something you like!
