Smile newcomer...excersie and clothes size???

I have been following atkins since sept. 3 and have lost a bit of weight, no longer have the sugar high and low to live by...Joined a 30 minute work out and wow...best thing i could have done 6 days a week, I have gone down 4 top sizes and 3 pants sizes. They say muscle weighs more then fat, and increases your metabolism, so I am trying not to let the scale guide me, but the clothes size. I feel very good about myself..greetings to all you low carbers.. anyone else find the scale not matching up with clothes sizes?

Congratulations on your wonderful losses and welcome to the board.

Yes, that is very common when you lose weight by LCing. You keep the lean sleeek muscle and lose the fluffy fat. So LC dieters tend to BE smaller while weighing MORE than you'd expect.

Go by the measurements and the clothes size. And forget the scales!
