I have been doing treadmill for nearly a month now, 5 x a week for 45-50 mins., 2.7 mph, uphill. I am noticing that I have both lost inches and gained muscle in different places on my thighs and calves. So long as the fat goes away, and I don't hear "swoosh" when my thighs rub together, (which should be very soon!), I could care less about the size of my legs!
