I know the feeling of waiting for that leg soreness, I find that mine usually hits the afternnon on the next day and is its worst the second day. If your body is telling you to rest...then rest.

I got with a different trainer. Hopefully this one helps me get some results. My new workout isn't much different, just tons more cardio. But this is only for 3 weeks then we'll see how it works then change it up. Only train with weights 3x week. Cardio 6x.

Mon - AM - HIIT
PM - Weights & 15 minutes cardio at 85% max

Tues - AM - HIIT
PM - Cardio - 25 m inutes 85% max

Wed - Weights & cardio - 15minutes at 85% max

Thurs - same as Tues

Fri - same at Mon

Sat - same as Tues & Thurs

Every week, I'll increase HIIT by 10 secs and increase PM cardio by 5 minutes.

Also diet will change a bit, not what I eat, just the calories. So, we'll see how it goes.

Workout for Thurs, Sept. 2

AM - HIIT - Elliptical - 24 minutes
226 calories
UGH!!! Former trainer is at it again - he came over & increased the resistance on the elliptical!! I hate it when he does that. I don't like to have a lot of resistance when I do the elliptical cuz when I run outside I run some hills. That's all the resistance I need when doing cardio, plus I work my legs & butt enough when I lift. UGH!

ABS - various ab work with 6.6lb medicine ball & decline bench

PM - Run - 27 minutes 85% max

Hi Aimee,
my trainer when I'm doing Cardio on my own, doesn't want me to have any resistance on the elliptical machine. Now when I'm doing the two minute intervals while lifting weights, well now that is a different story, the resistance is like walking through deep mud, lol lol.

Your doing great. Today was my last weight lifting for a week, then Brian will have me a whole new workout set-up.

Have a great evening.

Joan
