Talking Hi Everyone ...

Okay .. Now I have a question????

First of all -- Lisa .. A WHOOSH is when you lose a pound to a few pounds consistantly .. it's "whooshing" all the fat from your body ..

**********

Okay .. now ..

The last few nights I've been definately kicking my blankets off at night ...

Yesterday my tummy was growling horribly .. normally my "want" can be curbed with water .. it's been a horribly long time since my belly had argued back that much !!!

My weight has gone UP a few pounds in the last few days ..

TOM isn't due for another few weeks, and he isn't that big of a deal in my life anymore .. no pre-cravings, no bloating.. etc ....etc .. so nonetheless -- can't blame it on him ..

Could these be signs of a whoosh???

Would be interested if anyone else has had this stuff happen .. cuz I really haven't had any major whooshes in a year .. or so .. .. whoops .. except the loss I had at the beginning of the month, when I FINALLY broke my year long stall .. ...

Just questioning????
Talk later!!!

Last post poses a good question I think - How do you know when to eat (b/c one is not to starve on Atkins) and when not to eat?

My experience is this - in my early days on Atkins I ate whenever I was hungry just enough to feel satiated. I've now been following this WOE for 3 months and find I don't feel hungry as often or as intensely as at the beginning. However, for those times when I do feel hunger I ask myself how long has it been since I last ate and is there any good reason to feel hungry. If I ate quite recently I ignore the feeling and it subsides. I also have started NEVER eating after 7:30/8:00 no matter how hungry I get to allow my body to enjoy a 12 hr fast in order for fat to be burned while I sleep.

My hunger also fluctuates with hormones so that is another time I won't eat when hungry until an appropriate meal time arrives.

Hope this helps.

An interesting thread.

Default Weird..

Today I have been eating constantly! I don't know what it is, but I'm like a bottomless pit I cheated a few days ago so I don't think this can possibly be a whoosh but I don't think I've eaten so much in a long time! I don't usually feel this hungry. What do you guys think? COULD it be a little whoosh?
