Default Two part question!

I have a couple of questions for ya!

1. How do you avoid stalls in losing weight? Is there something that can be done to get back to losing? I am very impatient and find not losing at least a pound a week to be a waist of time.

2. I have read on the board here that you may not be losing weight (lbs's) for a time but you can still loose inches. How is this possible? I am missing something here, which is not uncommon.

Thanks!

1. If you are following your program weight loss is seldom a straight line downwards. There are temporary pauses and little gains and zigzags. There is a great thread called Do you expect all your progress to be losses?

The best advice I can give is to stick to your program as written and make sure you are doing it right, don't worry about the scale. When there has been no weight or inches lost for 6 weeks, then it may be time to tweak.

2. Losing inches can happen when you grow lean muscle and lose fat simutaneously. Here are a few more helpful threads with info for you.

See I told you I was missing something! Thanks for the information I learn something new everyday. The links were great and the picture of the 1 pound loss before and after is amazing.

Again thanks! I feel better!
