Don't worry... there's no surprise ending. It's not only good to be informed about the next phases, but later chapters in the book talk a lot about things like metabolic resistance, the importance of exercise, what you can expect, etc. Plus, my copy has a nice little grocery list in the back. Useful when you're brainstorming menus.
Good job reading though... it is a very useful tool.
