Plan: Started as a 'normal' diet. Now on Atkins. Check my sig.
Stats: 315/215/180

Default What should I change about my eating habits?

I guess the typical day for the past 4-5 days or so has been something like this. (Not exactly, obviously, but.)

Breakfast: 2-3 Fried Eggs. 3-4 strips of bacon. (rinsed in warm water to remove excess salt/sugar). Or instead of bacon, ham.

Lunch: 2 Cups of lettuce with a decent amount of ranch. (I'm not big on adding much of anything else to my 'salads', That's just me.) And a couple of medium sized burgers cooked in the oven with garlic-salt. (Just a bit!)

Dinner: About a cup of green-beans (Probably a little less than a cup..) and a couple of chicken breasts cooked in some random fassion. (It goes without saying: without carbs.)

Snack(s): If I get the munches or I'm approaching the 6 hour thing, I might eat a couple of pieces of some lunchmeat or maybe some cheese.

So, is there anything I should change? Am I eating too much? Eating too much of something particular? Not eating enough of something particular? Or what? Comments and complaints are welcomed!

Oh, and add to that, about 50 bajillion gallons of water.

Not literally, obviously, but it's all I drink and I usually have a bottle with me.

The key is to listen to your body.

Your meals look well balanced and good. They two most important things are to eat until full AND to mix things up to enjoy eating.... after all you succeed with this when you enjoy what you are eating and stick to it.

FYI - I never rinsed my bacon and did ok.
