Default Advice-Best Scales?

I need some advice on buying new scales.

My old bathroom scales give me a different number everytime I get on them. I usually weigh several times and take the number that comes up most often. (whether I like it or not!)

What brand do most of you use?

We need one that will go up to 330lbs.

Thanks for your help.

Hi GramnGramp! Great question, I want to know the answer to that too. I have a scale (digital) but I want a scale that does decimals and calculates body fat too.

Peace

I think Tanita is the best. I included a link to some searches for you to look through. Being a bit obsessive compulsive, I even tested it with a weight from our gym downstairs. It passed.

I have a Tanita too, and it also calculates body fat. I really like it. If I use mine, and then use the one at my parents' house -- same brand -- they always match.

I don't use the body fat option too much...I find it a little depressing.

I concur. Tanita is definately the best. The best ones have an "athlete" option for when you are working out heavily, also one that stores more than one persons info if there is more than one person in your household. THis is good so that you don't have to reset the "Male or female", "height" everytime.

My husband and I bought a balanced scale, the ones with the little water level on the top like a doctors scale. Now we no longer worry about false readings.
