Question When is exercising enough or too much?

I just started strength training and I'm my muscles are very tired.
Usually when I cardio my muscles are tired but I feel great after a few hours. This time its lasting alot longer. I don't eat till after my work out and I'm getting plenty of sleep and water. Could I have over done the work out? You can see my gym log for what I've been doing. I'm new to this and I'm trying to, like forever, not to worry. Thanks!

I know this sounds like a familiar question from me but before I used to feel sleepy all the time after exercising. Now I'm wide awake but I feel like my body is sleeping.

Default me too....

Interesting you would have that issue...me too. I have increased my work out and it seems to have gotten harder and I am fatigued sooner.....I wondered if I am pushing myself to hard also.

Default The "classic" answer :-)

I started weight training long time ago, but still have similar feeling as you have. Meanwhile after even long distance running, swimming, or hard cardio I feel fresh, light, rejuvenated, after weight training I always feel only one thing: I am dead tired. I tried every possible change in my routine, tried different nutritional changes - nothing helped.

What to do? Because my strenght have been improving, despite of the uncomfortable feeling, I do not want to give up the weight training. I found the solution accidentaly. Once, after a hard session, when I could hardly move, I reached for one of my favorite classic books. In a minute I was light, fresh again :-)
Since this experience every time I spend min. 30 minute to read some classic literature after weight training. (I tried lighter literature, it does not work. I need something "hard".)

:-)

Love the name! I love your solution!
I did find out what probably caused my weakness. I was at the doctors yesterday and it looks like I have Steap with a fever of 102. So that could be why my muscles were so tired. I'm sure it didn't help!
