hi! im new to the CAD diet. i started on 4/7/03 and things are going good so far. i did atkins for a while and then decided it wasnt the way i wanted to go. so i did some reading on CAD and decided this was something i could live with, even if the weight loss was slower. ive noticed a few of you are doing CAD/some atkins. how exactly does that work? i have wondered if you could go back and forth and keep losing weight or not. i have a long way to go so any kind of jumpstart to my weight loss would be wonderful, as it is on atkins induction. any secrets to success would be greatly appreciated. thanks!

I'm not combining so won't be able to answer your question, but I wanted to welcome you. I don't think you will be sorry you switched.

Welcome to CADland.

Hi Raindrop, Welcome to CAD and the forum. I do Atkins weekdays with CAD weekends right now. My body seems to stay the same if I stay on the same diet too long so I switch around. I just got off of the Fat Flush plan and did well there also. From time to time your metabolism needs a boost and that is my way of doing just that. I did low fat for about 20 years and am so glad I am off of that, I was tired of starving. I also started excercising more to help me get more toned and get some fat off faster. I know in the CAD book it says you don't have to excercise, but I just feel so much more energized when I do. I hope your weekend is going well and that this helps somewhat.
